About Perqa

Perqa makes sure you tap the right credit card every time. Tell it which cards are in your wallet, and whenever you're about to pay for something, Perqa tells you which card earns the most — right now, accounting for your cycle's spending, caps, and tier progress. Built specifically for Singapore credit cards.

Anyone who holds two or more credit cards in Singapore and wants to make sure the right one is tapped at the right merchant. You do not need to be a points-hacking expert; Perqa handles the fine print for you.

Perqa is built by Finly Labs Pte. Ltd., a small team based in Singapore. We started building it for ourselves; we now offer it to anyone who wants it. See the About page for more.

Perqa is free. When you choose to apply for a card, some Apply links are referral/affiliate links — if you're approved, we may earn a commission from the bank or a partner. That commission never changes which card we recommend: rankings are based purely on your spend and the published reward rates. Cards that pay us nothing are recommended exactly the same. Full detail on the How we make money page.

Using the app

Open the Wallet tab and tap '+ Add Card'. Search by card name or bank and tap to add. You don't need a card number — just the card model you own.

When you search for a merchant, Perqa matches it against the reward rules for every card in your wallet, filters by your selected reward preference (you can pick one or more of Miles, Cashback, or Store Points), and ranks results by what you'll earn — after accounting for your cycle's spend, cap utilisation, and minimum-spend tier progress.

Not manually, no — you can upload a PDF statement and Perqa's AI parser will extract the transactions, categorise them, and reconcile against anything you've already logged. The PDF is read once and discarded; we never see your card number or balance. That said, we do recommend keeping all your spend in Perqa (logged or imported). The more complete your record, the more accurately Perqa can track your cap utilisation, minimum-spend progress, and tier unlocks — and the better its recommendation will be the next time you're at the checkout.

LOCKED means you haven't hit the card's minimum spend for the month yet, so the bonus rate isn't active. CAPPED means the bonus-rate cap has been used up this cycle — further spend earns only the base rate. Perqa tracks both so you don't get surprised.

Perqa uses your onboarding profile — income bracket, residency status, and age — to flag cards you likely can't apply for today. A premium card requiring $80k/yr income, for example, is dimmed for someone in the $20–30k bracket, and an eligible alternative is ranked above it. If you skipped the profile during signup, every card shows normally with no filtering — head to the Settings tab to add your details.

Yes — everything set during onboarding is editable anytime from the Settings tab. The reward preference is multi-select (pick any combination of Miles, Cashback, and Store Points) and changes which cards rank first on a search. The CPM slider controls how miles convert to cashback-equivalent in Insights (move it from 1.5¢, the economy baseline, up to 2¢+ if you typically redeem business class). The review threshold controls which unrecognised statement transactions surface for manual review during import.

Upload a PDF statement from any major Singapore bank. Our parser uses an AI model to extract every transaction line — date, merchant, amount, foreign-currency details where present — and reconciles them against anything you've already logged in Perqa. The PDF itself is processed once and discarded; we never store the file. Free-tier users get 5 statement parses per calendar month.

Ask Perqa is a chat assistant powered by AI that knows your wallet, your spend, and the bonus rules of every card you own. You can ask in plain English — "Which card for Grab?", "How much cashback did I earn in March?", "Log $45 at FairPrice on UOB One." Signed-in users get 100 messages per calendar month (admin bypass for our own testing). The Landing-page demo is rate-limited to 5 messages per IP per day; sign in for full access. We use Anthropic's Claude model for the chat — your messages and our wallet snapshot of your data are sent for the duration of each call and not retained for training.

Data & privacy

When you upload a statement, the PDF is sent over HTTPS to our parser, an AI model extracts transaction details, and the file is discarded — we never store the PDF. We store only the transaction fields needed to generate recommendations (date, merchant, amount, category) — never your card number, CVV, or bank login credentials. All data is stored with row-level security so one user cannot see another user's data.

Those are used only to filter card recommendations — so premium cards you can't yet apply for are dimmed, and residency-restricted cards are hidden from non-residents. They're stored privately on your account with the same row-level security as every other field, never shared or sold, and never leave your account. Each field is optional during onboarding — only your reward-type preference is mandatory. You can edit or clear any of them anytime from the Settings tab.

Supabase (database, authentication), Vercel (hosting, anonymous analytics), Anthropic (the AI model that parses uploaded statement PDFs and powers Ask Perqa chat), Resend (email delivery for your messages to us and any updates you've opted into), and Google Maps Platform (only when you use 'near me', to find nearby merchants from an approximate location). Anthropic receives the PDF contents during a parse call, and your message + a wallet snapshot during a chat call — both for the duration of the call only, neither retained for training. We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or banks. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.

Only if you opt in — under Settings → Email updates, or via the subscribe form on our homepage. Email updates (like the monthly card-changes digest) are strictly opt-in, never pre-ticked, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe. You can also switch them off in Settings anytime. We don't email you marketing unless you've asked us to.

Only with your permission, and only at the moment you ask. Travel mode uses your approximate location + timezone to tell whether you're spending locally or overseas; the 'near me' feature sends an approximate location to Google Maps to find nearby merchants. We don't track location in the background or keep a history of it — decline or revoke the permission anytime and Perqa falls back to timezone-based detection.

Banks, cards & accuracy

All major Singapore banks (DBS, POSB, UOB, OCBC, Citi, HSBC, StanChart, AMEX, Maybank, Trust, CIMB and more). Over 100 specific cards are modelled with rate rules, tier caps, merchant exceptions, network-specific differences, and current welcome bonuses.

We try very hard to keep them current. Whenever a bank announces a change, we update the rules as quickly as we can. If you ever spot a rate or rule that looks wrong, email support@perqa.app and we'll get it fixed in no time.

Perqa captures the main reward rules, including minimum-spend thresholds, cap limits, and category exclusions. Edge cases (obscure merchant-category rules, one-off promotions, per-user targeted offers) may be missed. Always verify current rates with your bank's T&Cs for purchases you care a lot about.

No. Perqa is an informational tool. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, tax, legal, or credit advice. You make your own purchase decisions.

No. The iOS and Android apps use the same beta access as the web app — free during beta, no card details required.

Yes. The iOS app, Android app, and web app all talk to the same Perqa account — sign in once on any of them, and your wallet, spend logs, statement imports, and preferences are visible everywhere.

Pricing & beta

We're in beta and would love to have you onboard. Tell us what would add the most value to you — your honest feedback shapes what we build next.

It means features may change or be added based on user feedback, bugs may occasionally appear, and we're actively listening. It does not mean your data is handled any less carefully.
